May 2020 Astrology Forecast

May 2020 Astrology Forecast

In episode 253 astrologers Kelly Surtees and Austin Coppock join the show to talk about the astrological forecast for May of 2020.

Most of the action this month happens in the second full week of May, when Saturn stations direct, Mars completes its conjunction with Saturn by moving out of Aquarius and into Pisces, Venus stations retrograde in Gemini, and Jupiter stations retrograde conjunct Pluto in Capricorn.

At the top of the show we spend about an hour catching up and talking about news that has happened since last month, Chris’ recovery from being sick with Covid, astrology conferences running into issues this year, and reflecting on weird conspiracy theories surrounding the virus.

This episode is available in both audio and video versions below.

  • Hey, me the same as Austin, in that lots and lots done, but also there is time…. Have felt in control of my life for a change!!! And I love the solitude/quiet/fresh air ( but its nothing to do with a Mars/Saturn connection which I do not have). I am used to solitude so in that way no change but for it to be even quieter I love. And I am used to not planning far ahead, because that doesn’t work for me anyway, never has, but that is probably to do with a rather strong 6th house, a Cancerian stellium and currently last month of 8th house by profection …..(thankfully)…… (Mind you I am not confined to one room with no balcony say…)

  • Great monthly forecast as usual. Kudos to Austin for last months prediction
of protests and unrest about the stay-at-home orders. One thing I have been pondering is the lack of wide-spread protests about the U.S. case and mortality numbers. In April a U.S. citizen died every 44 seconds of confirmed Covid-19 disease. As Chris demonstrated, the testing is designed to under report the numbers. Recent reporting suggests there is a large number of at-home fatalities of people who are non-symptomatic. It is very scary for people, and the White House response has been problematic at best. The point is that a lot of people have died, and a lot of people will die over the next months. It seems to me that at any other time the populace would be screaming their outrage at the government’s failure to manage the crisis. Instead we have the lunatic fringe screaming about conspiracy theories, all the while ignoring the deaths around them. Is that just Capricorn keeping people jaded and silent? I would be curious for your thoughts.

All the best to you all! Be safe, be well, be happy.

  • I have watched this twice on YouTube and I kept thinking about the spiking (part of the banter on the podcast) and the coronavirus is made up of spikes and that’s how it invades our cells and starts the process of giving us the disease of covid19. I have experienced fear and sleeplessness over this virus. I’m still in fear but I’m getting use to living this way as everyone has the same issue. I usually would fly to St. Thomas so I can ferry to St. John for a week in vacation there but I don’t want to continue with this plan this year. I’m trying to decide what to do next. Everything is very unstable so it’s good to use caution and let things happen but not exposing myself to a dangerous situation. I know this is small compared to others in this crisis. I’m also furloughed from a stable job that I’ve held for 25 years.

  • I’m now leaving another comment. So I have been following the WHO for many months and they have said the virus will spike again. The astrology says June is the spiking coming which I don’t disagree with but I think by August there will be something surfacing which changes this pandemic whether it’s worse or better we shall see but August is a great turning point for all people worldwide. As far as I have known so far there’s a mutation in this virus by more than 30 types of mutations which will go with the nodes moving into the mutable signs but most of the time when a virus mutates it gets weaker but can be more transmittable as a contagious pathogen. What do you think as astrologers??

  • Is it just me or is anyone else having problems loosing things or bad purchases since Venus started squaring Neptune.

  • I love the forecast, all of the episodes! You are a talented group. We should be clear “all of the money moving around” is mostly money created out of thin air, fiat based currency with no solid value. An aspect I guess of the transition to air…

  • “Weird magical thing to sign the Declaration of Independence”? You’ve never stayed up until 2 am to take an advantage of an election? LOL!!! (I don’t use the Gem rising chart, but that just made me snicker. 🙂 )

  • The thing I find that is disturbing is blaming others for a pandemic. How could anyone know about this thing since it’s invisible unless they actually started it deliberately but who exactly would do such a thing? No one would. When people start to blame others there’s clearly a problem because that takes away the power from the collective to solve the issue of the sickness itself. Solidarity isn’t a word used lightly at all. We are being sent a message to unite or to face a devastation that no one has seen for at least 100 years or more….
