  • Virgo ASC, so H5 Sat transit. Natal Sat in H4 where Jupiter just ingressed (Sag). Relocated. Spent all 2018 making plans. Sat square H8 asc ruler then n. Sun so it is not just a H5 story. Specific to H 5 asking the question what makes me happy? W n. Mars there, what can I do for pleasure that will help create security? EG start a business pursuit using hobby to do that. In idea phase only. Had a very small start last year.

  • HI! Leo rising checking in as requested about how Mars in Capricorn is playing out for me so far. I returned from maternity leave to my job of nearly 16 years on February 1st, and in September I put in my notice so I can raise my son and concentrate on personal projects. My last day here will be December 14th. So I would say I am experiencing a massive restructuring of my work life, ha. And as for changes on the health front, I committed to therapy this year for my anxiety and I firmly believe that laid the groundwork for making the work changes. I hadn’t really made that direct connection until listening to your horoscope just now, so I’m having fun looking back on this year and how the placement has played out.

  • Sun in Virgo, Capricorn Asc and going through my second Saturn return. 2018 has kicked my ass. Father died, manager died, found out I’m losing my job of almost 40 years in March 2019, my boyfriend (ex-husband) of almost 15 years dumped me. So yes, Saturn return is affecting me.

  • Anna, wow. Big stuff, and in H1. Take care of your body!!! Will be interesting to see how 2019 powers you up. Breakdiwn to rebuild life? Going inward. Uranus in Taurus come March for seven years trining your first may help re-invent your life? Best Wishes.

  • Hi lLibra asc here with Saturn transiting the 4th stories as you requested. Yes home issues. After living in our home since 1980, a crisis has occurred because it has become so valuable and we’re both in our 60’s. Struggling whether to cash in. Also implementing plan A to add an Airbnb space for rental income hopefully to be ready by Spring. Saturn is very strong in my day chart. Pluto is also influencing things as it approaches an opposition to my chart ruler with Saturn to follow along with the nodal transit too. Career issues and big changes afoot there too, da. I’m strapped in with full body gear, driving slowly and pretty nervous.

  • This is rather odd, since I use the Placidus house system. I have 15Leo rising, and in Placidus, Saturn is still going through my 5th house rather than the 6th. During the last few months, I’ve had concrete (Saturn) sidewalks installed in the back yard to accommodate my daughter. We have separate entrances and living quarters, and mine was the only one with a sidewalk from my entrance to the back gate. I also had a central air conditioning unit, also associated with Saturn/Capricorn, installed in her unit over the summer.

  • Not a word about Uranus going through Taurus for the next seven years? Why not mention this once in a lifetime transit for all Taurus rising/sun signs?

    • I discussed it a lot in previous month’s horoscopes, and there is only so much that I can repeat when it comes to long-term outer planet transits each month, especially if Uranus is not stationing or otherwise in Taurus during the month in question…

  • My daughter married this year and her and her husband are expecting to expand their family in 2019, but there is some tension and fear surround this. I’m Virgo ASC. Love your in depth readings.

  • Cap Asc, Libra Sun, Virgo Moon: The last year I have been put in a position of sole caregiver for my uncle (99 yrs old) and my brother-in-law (47 yrs old). I am feeling the isolation of the 12th house activity. My days are consumed with their health issues and no time to care for myself!!

  • In the Libra Asc horoscope you mention New Moons are symbolic new beginnings for the next three months.
What’s the source of the three months quip?

    • Should be six months, unless one of us misspoke, since that is how long it takes for there to be a New Moon and then a Full Moon in the same sign.

  • I understand the desire not to o repeat or be boring but this is a major movement that will affect all Taurus rising and Sun signs. Spending 10 seconds on what to expect when Uranus ‘is in the building’ would give a more comprehensive picture of the larger forces at work. There is so much focus on the inner planets that the outers tend to be neglected. Just because their influence is not personal they are still capable of changing the culture.
On a different note, good work on the new format. It works well for the individual signs.

  • Leo rising. In response to your request for personal stories re. Saturn transit through the 6th: I have Neptune in my 6th house natally, and have always had health issues, the causes of which were uncertain and which I’ve never been able to get to the bottom of (eczema, asthma, allergies). All of 2018, I’ve been experiencing the relentless Saturn transit (back and forth over my natal Neptune) in a very clear way. I have chronic eczema and this year it has gotten out of control and has been much more severe than usual. I’ve always dealt with it in waves, but this year it has been maybe the worst it’s ever been, despite years of dietary restrictions to avoid known (and supposed) triggers, seeing various health professionals to little or no avail, etc. This caused me much frustration and stress and prompted me to see a functional medicine doctor over the summer, to try to resolve this persistent health issue once and for all. I have been on a rather extensive healing plan since then. Things have gotten much better, though have not cleared up entirely. Saturn only recently moved out of the conjunction, so I’m looking forward to having some relief soon and ultimately putting this is chapter behind me. I may have to wait till he departs from Capricorn entirely, but I hope it won’t take that long. Definitely learning the lessons of Saturn in this area of my life, that’s for sure.

  • Thank you for your thoughtful, detailed work!
Responding to your question regarding Saturn transiting Capricorn:
I am Taurus AC, Sun in Capricorn in the 9th House, 33 years old.
Saturn’s ingress into Capricorn was I believe December 19, 2017, in the final weeks of my 9th House profection year. I’m a professor at a university (higher education, 9th House), which takes on greater structure and accountability as Saturn moves into its domicile in the my 9th House. I turned 33 in early January 2018, moving into my 10th House profection year. From January-May, I underwent my 3rd year review, which required months of work assembling a dossier to be reviewed by my department, the provost, and a board of tenured faculty. In April, the President’s Advisory Board met to review my dossier, around the time that Venus in Gemini was trine my MC 3 degrees of Aquarius. On May 8 2018, I received highest rankings in my review.
Now I am in the process of applying for a tenure-track position in my department, as Saturn continues to transit my 9th House in my 10th House profection year. The profection emphasis is Aquarius/10th House as Saturn (ruler of 9th and 10th) transits the 9th (higher education, where I work). It feels like a year of accounting diligently for the work that I’ve done in order to build what I need to succeed in the years to come.

  • Hi! Thanks so much for your podcasts, they are so helpful! I’m a libra rising who is also going through my Saturn return at the moment. I found it interesting what you said about Saturn transiting the 4th house. A lot of my Saturn return has been about revisiting my childhood and restructuring my relationship with my family in order to live more fully as myself. I was born with Saturn in the 3rd house though! But could it all be connected? Thanks!

  • Libra Asc. Absolutely feeling the Saturn influence in my 4th house. My teen sister moved in with me a year ago, I have no children of my own so the transition has been a rough one for me. Used to my freedom, so the responsibility it heavy. In January my mother (a Cap sun) will be moving in as well. I have always seen her as a restrictive influence in general. On the plus side, she will be assisting with some large home repair projects. The restrictions will literally lead to some home rebuilding. Everyone leaves in two years when my sister graduates….and Saturn leaves my 4th house.

  • Sag rising: lots of changes in my 2nd house but also stagnation. Work has been piecemeal but steady. Savings are slow, however started paying installments of a loan towards a massive renovation of my family home which I inherited since 2018. Financial concerns have grown as I am trying to save towards a move to another country for higher education. Subconsciously, really listening for a lot of cues for what to do in terms of jobs. Finally, gave up on 9 to 5 gigs, focused on projects and part-time employment only.

  • Thank you so much for this. I’ve been going through your book over the course of this year and I’m blown away by how cool all of this is. I wanted to report on Sagittarius rising and what I’ve been going through. I’ve also got my Saturn Return coming up on the 1st degree of Aquarius so these transits have been somewhat extreme, so maybe it would be interesting info for a Saturn Return story if I make it through? So in pretty much every house system except whole sign I also have natal Saturn in the 2nd house instead of 3rd. I’m 27 and struggled with money my whole life, but this past month, oh boy. This is pretty personal and embarrassing, and sucks, but last November I got a DUI and have since spent a day in jail, thousands on lawyer fees, license suspension (3rd house ruling 2nd, had to ride my bike to work) and tons of fees for counseling and traffic school etc… Just last week I took my car into the shop for a problem I’ve had for a while and spent the last of the money I’ve got on the repairs. I’m completely broke.

I know it’s temporary but this has been made even more tough with Mars going through my 4th house. I’m moved back in with my Mom and feeling more stuck and frustrated about my living situation than ever. I’ve been wanting to get my own place for over a year and it just feels like I’m trapped here by my money situation. So that’s my December so far lol.

I also wanted to mention how I think this might all be a wind up for my Saturn Return (learning how to sustain myself and handle money, true node also in Cap/2nd house). I looked into it and I’ve got a day chart, and this just sounds crazy, Saturn stations direct on the degree of my natal Saturn (1 Aqu) and will conjunct Jupiter and Pluto (kind of) and I think they all go retrograde right around that 1st degree of Aquarius. So fingers crossed on something radioactively benefic lol. I’d love to hear what you think about it, I can provide my chart too, just don’t know how here.

  • I’m a sag rising and have noticed more emphasis on the 2nd house more so still Pluto arrived there years ago. Saturn so far hasn’t really manifested in any way, well not yet. It’s a struggle with Pluto opposite my natal sun not to happy about that. A bit morbid I know but I know 3 people who have died recently sharing my birthday or thereabout with this Pluto transit. So dark days ahead possible with Saturn Pluto conjunction coming up at some point. I hope the eclipses put a positive spin on life!

  • Heyo,
I am a Capricorn with a Leo rising and O-M-G how Saturn has been rocking my world. I am 30 years old and turning 31 Jan 4th of next year, 2019.. so I dealt with my personal Saturn return and now the majestic Saturn is in Capricorn until 2020.. such coincidences and my life shines them all this year: in solid work flow, the beginning of 2018 and new loneliness brought to a new solid partnership at the end of 2017, unsettling family woes tinged with my warrior spirit for my tribe and hearts, and now the new year. What is next? I can only hope Jupiter truly shines down. I have hope for my family, my new love, and if my career (and new position) do not last I will find a way. I always do.. and with my renewed faith in family, friends, loves, and coincidences anything is possible. Thank you for your generosity in providing guidance.

Always look to the stars and live in the present. -Mal

  • “the beginning of 2018 and new loneliness brought to a new solid partnership at the end of 2017”
    ——
I meant a new solid partnership at the end of 2018..
This year has been a complete 180 in the relationship aspect.

I can’t blame Mercury retrograde.. just bad typing for my error

  • 7th house relationships… 2 years ago i separated from my husband of 33 years. i am single since then..have moved homes and though it was my choice it’s been painful. still i don’t regret it and my focus is on doing my life my way.

  • Hi, just watched this (two years and 1 month later) for what is worth it i feel like leaving a comment…
Cancer rising, Moon in Taurus, with Venus, Sun and mercury in Libra (4th hose), Neptune is Scorpio; Pluto, Uranus in Virgo, Saturn in Pisces conjunct to the MC. End of December 2018, marked the opening “Pandora Box” within my love relationship and bringing out of shadows years of secrets. It started a whole process of re-claiming my intuition, (eclipse season Cancer/Cap???) loosing the illusion that my partner of almost 18 years was like a perfect prince charming incapable of lying (he had multiple other women over the years and a long relationship/affair .. 4 years). This whole process, brought us to face our deepest fears, to face our demons, countless conversations by the fire (mercury transiting into my 5th house where my natal Neptune is??)… My partner and I have a company together and work together since the beginning of our relationship (Mars transiting through pisces at MC).. I seriously thought of walking away from it all, but we have a daughter…. So yeah, it has been an intense 2 years. Thanks for this channel is really helpful.
