Astrology Forecast for May 2018: Uranus Enters Taurus

Astrology Forecast for May 2018: Uranus Enters Taurus

In episode 154 of the podcast astrologers Kelly Surtees and Austin Coppock join the show to talk about the astrological forecast for May of 2018.

Much of the discussion focuses on the impending ingress of the outer planet Uranus into the zodiacal sign of Taurus, since Uranus only changes signs once every seven years or so.

The Uranus ingress coincides with Mars changing signs and moving into Aquarius just a day later, and then completing a square with Uranus not long after.

At the top of the show we also discuss the new royal baby that was recently born in the UK, as well as the question of why Mercury retrograde has become a more popular concept in recent decades.

As usual, the artwork for this episode is from the 2018 PlanetWatcher Calendar.

  • Thank you Chris, Kelly, and Austin for another good podcast. The 0 Aquarius point is connected to changes on a very large scale. This is the degree where we get the next Saturn conjunct Jupiter in 2020. It was also significant for the 2016 election of the Great Disruptor. Mars was in late Capricorn conjunct the US Pluto the night of the election. It changed sign and went into Aquarius at about 1 AM which was when the voting tide started to turn in favor of Trump.

Now, 2 yrs later, Mars has come around again and this time it will be making these 3 very exact aspects with Uranus for basically the whole summer. It sounds to me that we are going to get our next big download and taste of that is being set up to culminate in 2020.
