The Astrology Podcast inception chart

The Astrology Podcast Launched

The Astrology Podcast inception chartThe Astrology Podcast was launched on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 5:14 PM in Denver, Colorado, USA.

As you may be able to tell from the chart on the left, it wasn’t really an election, but more of a spur of the moment type of thing that happened to come together that day.

I’ve been hosting the Traditional Astrology Radio podcast for the past year and a half, and I wanted to create an alternate show that could be a bit broader in scope, since my own interests in the field of astrology tend to be kind of diverse.

It is not clear yet if this is going to be more of a solo show, or if I will have a regular co-host, although I do plan to have other people on from time to time.  I expect that my good friend and co-writer Patrick Watson from the Political Astrology Blog will make frequent appearances.

The purpose of the show is to have high-level discussions about astrological topics, not just limited to specific techniques or technical concepts, but also with discussions about the history and philosophy of astrology as well.  I would also like to do a segment where I discuss recent news and events in the astrological community.

I’m still in the process of setting up the website at this point, but the first episode of the podcast should be available soon!

  • Hi Chris,

Congrats on the new podcast site. Hopefully the beginning of something special.

I don’t get the same inception chart for that date and time, however. The chart you posted looks like it was cast four days earlier. I have the Sun’s tropical longitude as 02Cn51 for the time given.

    • Oh wow, you are right. I posted the correct chart, but the wrong data. Here is the actual data: June 19, 2012 at 1:07 PM, Denver, Colorado. I’m not sure how that happened.
